The Vicki Stevens Band has been on the Eugene and Oregon Coast scene since October of 2008. They are led by dynamically talented vocalist Vicki Stevens, The Rooster Awards Best "Female Blues Vocalist" of 2009.  Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Vicki’s truly gifted vocal style and charismatic stage presence have been winning audiences over whenever she performs since her arrival to Eugene in Spring of 2004. 

The Vicki Stevens Band has performed everywhere from Walterville, OR to Manzanita, OR to Woodinville, WA including the SAFEWAY WATERFRONT BLUES FESTIVAL in Portland on July 4th weekend 2010 at the Oregonian Front Porch Stage.
 
In addition to representing Eugene's Rainy Day Blues Society (RDBS) in the "Journey to Memphis"- International Blues Competition (IBC) in Tennessee 2011 the VSB has also earned a Cascade Blues Association (CBA) Muddy Awards "Best New Act" in 2010.

The VSB also features one of the Northwest’s finest guitar players, Dennis Monroe. Dennis lives in Philomath and has spent many years as a full-time musician as well as developing his skills as a sound engineer and recording technician.  His instrumental and vocal styles incorporates jazz, funk, rock, country and blues adding a unique and compelling sound to the total VSB package.

Another intricate piece of The Vicki Stevens Band is multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter Bill “Froggy” Hyland. Froggy plays harmonica, guitar, lap steel, bass, dulcimer and ukulele. He has two solo album releases: "Mass Hypnosis", with the Phantom Bass Player, and his latest, "100% Azul" which includes many guest artists. Froggy hosts the longest running blues jam in Albany, Oregon and is a perennial finalist in the Northwest Harmonica Championships.

The VSB is rounded out with Ron Rocci on drums, and Jim Badalich on bass whom have become a permanent fixture with the VICKI STEVENS BAND!  Ron "The Hitman" Rocci has been holding down the groove for many of the northwest’s best musicians for years. Ron has played Pop, Rock, Funk, R&B, Country, and Latin, but Blues has been his love for the past 10 years. So when your hips are shaken, your bones are quaking, your toes are tappin and your fingers are snappin give it up to the master of time “The Hitman”. We are thrilled to have them both on board.  Ron recently joined the rythmn section bringing new energy to the band.  His exceptional drumming style and skills add yet another dimension to the VSB. 

Hailing from the high deserts of Cali, veteran blues and rock bassist, Jimmy "bad boy" Badalich, makes his home in Eugene now and makes his musical home b-a-s-s (base) with the Vicki Stevens Band.  Jim Badalich's collective experience locks in with drummer, Bradd, to create the VSB's tight rhythm section.  Jim has worked with numerous bands in outside of Oregon and is now actively involved groups such as the locally known Broh-Taylor Blues Band and The Vicki Stevens Band…with Jim on the bass, be prepared to be BLOWN AWAY!

The VSB is a blues based band that plays a mixture of Blues, R&B, Rock and a dash of Country. We mix classic cover tunes and well penned originals that appeals to a wide audience. The “live” energy of our music is entertaining and WILL get people on the dance floor!
