Lane County and Corvallis have a growing list of dog parks. Below is a list of city or county parks that are officially designated for dogs. For a complete list of parks, please see our Parks section located under Sports and Recreation.

Eugene Dog Parks

  • Dog Owners are required to abide by park and animal control rules including the following:
  • Dogs must be vaccinated, licensed, and license must be displayed on the dog.
  • Solid waste must be removed immediately.
  • Female dogs in heat must be removed.
  • Dogs must be leashed when ENTERING and LEAVING the park.
  • Dogs must be under control at all times.

Alton Baker Park
This lively off leash-dog park encompasses approximately 2 acres and is fenced. It is located just off of Leo Harris Pkwy (along Canoe Canal, behind Autzen Stadium). You can also walk across the Autzen Ped/Bike Bridge and cut north through the park while walking through a beautifully tended path. Click here to view a map of the park.

Armitage Park
Location: 90064 Coburg Road, Eugene, OR 97408
This county park consists of 56.7 acres and is located along the McKenzie River. The off-leash dog park encompasses a 2-acre area. Dog park amenities include: water, doggie bags, picnic tables, shaded areas, and 'blinds' for training use. Corvallis Dog Parks

Bald Hill Natural Area
Location: On the far west side of Corvallis. The multi-modal path leading into the natural area may be accessed from 3 locations: a path next to the Benton County Fairgrounds, behind the gate off of Oak Creek Rd, and at an entrance off of Reservoir Rd.An area near the barn is designated as an off-leash dog area.

Chip Ross Park
Corvallis, Oregon
Location: At the end of Lester Ave (off of NW Glen Eden Dr)
The park is a designated off-leash area for dogs and their humans to socialize and enjoy. There are picnic tables at the Lester Ave trailhead.

Crystal Lakes Sports Fields
Location: On the southeast part of town, at the end of Fisher Lane.
(turf areas from November to March ONLY; dogs must be on leash near the boat ramp area at all times.

Martin Luther King Jr Park (formally known as Walnut Park)
Location: On the northwest side of Corvallis, on Walnut Blvd (between NW Elmwood and NW Maser Dr)

Willamette Park
Location: In far southeast Corvallis, at the dead end of Goodnight Avenue.

Dog areas include the entire park EXCEPT sports fields, playground and shelter areas.

Woodland Meadow Park
Location: In northwest Corvallis, where Circle Blvd meets Witham Hill Drive
Corvallis
Woodland Meadow Park is best known for its east-side fields where dogs are allowed off-leash.

Dogs of all sizes are allowed at no additional fee. Dogs may not be left unattended, and they must be on no more than a 6 foot leash, and cleaned up after. Dogs are allowed on the trails, but they are not allowed in buildings or yurts. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground.
